McCain is slipping in the polls

McCain decides to suspend his campaign and rushed to Washington to save the day. I think he is doing this for show and it's a common political stunt. In the end, without the help of either candidate or the president, Congressional leaders reached an agreement on Bush's Plan. It was a waste and do not understand why he can not multitask and also do his campaign. He is looking less and less “presidential” as time goes on.

i agree, this is an attempt by mccain to salvage his "maverick" image after his incorrect statements on the economy and his losses in the polls. as david lettermen pointed out, since he has already suspended his campaign with only a month to go until election day, what if he decides to suspend his presidency while in office. this political stunt with only hurt this mccain's "suspended" campaign
